Y498 D, a new product for grinding of metal

 

Y498 D has a ceramic abrasive that gives a high stock removal using less pressure compared with zirconia. Y498 D has a Resin over Resin adhesive and the backing is a strong durable polyester cloth. The product has a third layer of grinding aid to reduce heat. this filler is very efficient in keeping the work piece cold and makes the product excellent for tough grinding of carbon steel, stainless steel and all other high alloyed steels that create high temperatures when grinding. Y498 D is perfect for tough deburring applications.
